Pitch Recognition Program

Chambliss Grandslam LLC has launched its Pitch Recognition program for hitters of all ages. The purpose of the Pitch Recognition Program is to help hitters not only recognize balls and strikes more efficiently, but develop their own attack zone. The attack zone refers to the hitter's "hotspot" within the parameters of the strike zone where they are prone to attack a pitch. Good pitch recognition makes a hitter a more effective and valuable asset to any team, especially in critical situations. The program is a fun and easy way to enhance the batter's ability to track a baseball from the pitcher's hand to home plate.

When a player signs up for the Pitch Recognition Program, they receive multiple videos of a coach throwing a series of pitches from approximately 55-60 feet away from home plate. The batter's main objective is to determine whether the pitch is a ball or strike/or choose a color of the pitch thrown. Once the pitch is delivered, the player marks down his/her answers before moving on to the next pitch. When the lesson ends, the player reviews his/her results before advancing to the next challenge.
